Recycled Equipment's History
Recycled Equipment was founded in 1993 by Chad Baublitz. We began as a wholesale test equipment company who sold mainly to other dealers around the world. Recycled Equipment switched to retail sales in the year 2000. Since then we have experienced tremendous growth. We are able to keep our prices lower than our competitors because we buy our equipment directly from large companies who have surplus or excess instruments. As of November 1st Recycled Equipment is now REC Test & Measurement. We changed our name after 14 years because we felt that REC Test better describes our company and what it offers.
Shipping
All of the equipment listed on our site is in stock and ready to ship. REC Test & Measurement ships most orders same-day if received before 12PM EST. We have daily pick up by UPS and FEDEX and can arrange for shipping by DHL and Trucking as well. All prices for shipping are estimates, price may be higher or lower, specially for international customers.
Testing of Equipment
When a piece of equipment arrives at our warehouse it goes through a three step process:
1. The overall condition of the instrument is inspected;
2. The unit is tested to insure it functions within it's specifications; finally
3. Any missing accessories are purchased.
REC Test has the capability to test all the items we sell. We can test instruments up to 26GHz. We also have a complete VXI system that allows testing of all VXI cards. It consists of an Agilent mainframe, Agilent embedded controller, LabView software as well as 1000's of soft front panels.
Forms of Payment
REC Test accepts a wide range of forms of payment. They include: credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express), wire transfer, COD, company check and NET 10 terms for pre-approved customers.
Renting of Equipment
Recycled Equipments rents all types of test equipment. Anything on the site can be rented for as little as 1 week to as long as you need the unit. If you wish to buy the unit after the first 30 days of the rental period we will apply 25% of the rental price toward the purchase price on most models. If purchased with in the first month of rent then 100% will be applied to the purchase price.
